PPF (Paint Protection Film) is a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) film applied over your car’s paint. It forms a physical barrier between the factory finish and the outside world, absorbing stone chips, scratches and environmental damage.

FAQ
Gloss or matte?
Gloss film keeps and enhances your paint’s shine; matte film gives the car a satin finish. Both protect equally — it’s down to taste.
How is colour PPF different from a vinyl wrap?
Colour PPF changes your car’s colour while giving the same protection as clear PPF against stone chips and everyday scratches.
How long will you need my car?
A full-car job usually takes 5–7 days. The exact time depends on the model and coverage, and we confirm it at the inspection.
Can I coat the car after PPF?
Yes. Our PPF-specific coating adds extra water beading and self-cleaning. See the Ceramic Coating page for details.
What does the film warranty cover?
The film warranty comes from the PPF brand and covers severe yellowing or cracking under normal use. Normal wear and tear, and accidental or human-caused damage, are not covered. Warranty length depends on the brand and film: 7 years for ClearPro; 10 years for SEMPA gloss and matte, 5 years for SEMPA colour; 10 years for TERMINAX. Full terms are on the brand’s warranty card.
What does the workmanship warranty cover?
Every full-car PPF job comes with a 1-year AutoMate workmanship warranty covering installation issues such as lifting edges or bubbles under the film. Book an inspection and we’ll fix any confirmed installation issue free of charge. Collisions, scrapes and other external damage are not covered.
How do payment and deposits work?
PPF bookings on the website or AutoMate App need a deposit (amount shown after choosing your car) by credit card. The balance is paid after the service by credit card, FPS or Alipay. To pay by FPS, please book via WhatsApp.
What is the new-car delivery inspection?
Any PPF service or Revivify Carbon X coating includes a free new-car delivery inspection: we check the paint and bodywork when you take delivery of your new car, so you can accept it with confidence. Ask us on WhatsApp for details.
