1. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how AutoMate collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data when you use our mobile apps, website, booking services, service-pass features, payment flows, customer support, and related services.
AutoMate is operated in Hong Kong and we aim to handle personal data in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information needed to provide, secure, support, and improve AutoMate services. The current iOS app does not require an email address for normal account use. If you contact us by email or voluntarily provide an email address outside the iOS app, we use it only for that request or relationship.
- Account and contact information: Name, phone number, verification status, account ID, user ID, and other account-level identifiers needed to create, verify, and manage your AutoMate account.
- Vehicle and service information: Vehicle profile details you provide, such as car make, model, licence plate or registration details, mileage, selected services, booking time, service shop or service location, order status, and service notes.
- Purchase and transaction records: Services, service passes, bookings, order history, amounts, currency, payment status, receipts, and payment reference IDs. Payment credentials are processed by payment service providers such as Stripe, Apple Pay, or AlipayHK. AutoMate does not receive or store full card numbers, bank account numbers, Apple Pay credentials, or AlipayHK credentials.
- Device and notification information: Device-level or push-notification identifiers, notification permission status, push subscription status, message delivery interactions, and OneSignal user or subscription identifiers used to send account, booking, order, and service notifications.
- Product interaction and app usage information: Basic app usage events such as app launches, taps, booking-flow interactions, notification interactions, and related product interaction data used for app functionality, reliability, security, and service improvement.
- Support communications: Information you provide when you contact customer support, report an issue, request help, or communicate with us through our official support channels.
3. Information we do not use for tracking
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your personal data with data brokers. We do not use the current iOS app to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies for targeted advertising.
We may use standard website analytics or operational logs on our website to understand service performance and security, but those activities are separate from cross-app advertising tracking.
4. Location, camera, and payment permissions
AutoMate may store a service shop address, booking destination, or service location that you choose or provide. The current iOS app does not collect precise device GPS location for normal booking use unless a future feature asks for permission and you allow it.
If a camera or payment SDK feature is used for payment support, the payment provider processes the relevant payment credentials. AutoMate does not store card images or full payment credentials.
5. How we use information
- App functionality: Create and manage accounts, verify users, show available services, manage vehicles, process bookings, provide service passes, confirm orders, and send service updates.
- Payments and records: Process orders through payment providers, reconcile payment status, issue receipts, handle refunds or cancellations, and keep lawful transaction records.
- Notifications and support: Send account, booking, order, payment, service, support, and operational notifications by in-app messages, push notifications, phone, or other direct channels you have provided.
- Safety and service improvement: Prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, maintain app reliability, improve service flows, monitor performance, and protect AutoMate, users, service partners, and payment providers.
- Legal and compliance: Comply with applicable laws, regulatory requests, tax and accounting obligations, dispute resolution, and enforcement of our terms and policies.
6. How we share information
We share personal data only when needed to operate AutoMate services or meet legal obligations. We require service providers to handle the data only for the relevant service purpose.
- Service partners: Auto shops, service providers, delivery or fulfilment partners, and customer-service teams that need relevant booking, vehicle, contact, or order details to complete your requested service.
- Payment providers: Stripe, Apple Pay, AlipayHK, banks, card networks, or other payment partners involved in processing payments, refunds, chargebacks, and payment compliance.
- Technology providers: Hosting, cloud infrastructure, analytics, CRM, push-notification, security, logging, and support vendors, including providers used to operate the website and app.
- Legal or safety purposes: Courts, regulators, law enforcement, professional advisers, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or service integrity.
7. Retention and deletion
We retain personal data for as long as needed to provide AutoMate services, maintain account and transaction records, resolve disputes, meet legal, accounting, tax, and operational requirements, and protect service integrity.
You may request account deletion through the app settings where available, by using https://automate-app.com/delete-account, or by contacting us at cs@automate-app.com or support@automate-app.com. After a valid deletion request, we will delete or anonymize personal data unless we need to retain certain records for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, or service-integrity reasons.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No system is completely secure, so we continue to review and improve our safeguards.
9. Children
AutoMate services are not directed to children. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page, and the updated date will show when the policy was last revised.

本私隱政策說明 AutoMate 在你使用我們的流動應用程式、網站、預約服務、服務套票、付款流程、客戶支援及相關服務時,如何收集、使用、儲存及分享個人資料。
AutoMate 於香港營運,我們致力按照香港《個人資料(私隱)條例》(第486章)處理個人資料。
2. 我們收集的資料
我們只會收集提供、保障、支援及改善 AutoMate 服務所需的資料。目前 iOS App 在一般帳戶使用流程中不要求提供電郵地址。如你透過電郵聯絡我們,或在 iOS App 以外自願提供電郵地址,我們只會就該查詢或相關關係使用該電郵地址。
- 帳戶及聯絡資料: 姓名、電話號碼、驗證狀態、帳戶 ID、用戶 ID,以及建立、驗證及管理 AutoMate 帳戶所需的其他帳戶層級識別資料。
- 車輛及服務資料: 你提供的車輛資料,例如車廠、車款、車牌或登記資料、咪數、所選服務、預約時間、服務商戶或服務地點、訂單狀態及服務備註。
- 購買及交易紀錄: 已購買或預約的服務、服務套票、訂單紀錄、金額、貨幣、付款狀態、收據及付款參考 ID。付款憑證由 Stripe、Apple Pay、AlipayHK 等付款服務供應商處理。AutoMate 不會接收或儲存完整信用卡號碼、銀行帳戶號碼、Apple Pay 憑證或 AlipayHK 憑證。
- 裝置及通知資料: 用於發送帳戶、預約、訂單及服務通知的裝置層級或推送通知識別碼、通知權限狀態、推送訂閱狀態、訊息互動紀錄,以及 OneSignal 用戶或訂閱識別資料。
- 產品互動及 App 使用資料: 基本 App 使用事件,例如開啟 App、點擊、預約流程互動、通知互動,以及用於 App 功能、可靠性、安全及服務改善的相關產品互動資料。
- 客戶支援通訊: 你透過官方支援渠道聯絡客戶服務、報告問題、要求協助或與我們溝通時提供的資料。
3. 我們不會用資料作追蹤用途
我們不會出售你的個人資料,不會把你的個人資料分享予資料經紀,亦不會在目前 iOS App 內追蹤你在其他公司擁有的 App 或網站上的活動作定向廣告用途。
我們可能在網站使用標準網站分析或營運記錄,以了解服務表現及安全狀況;該等用途並不屬於跨 App 廣告追蹤。
4. 位置、相機及付款權限
AutoMate 可能會儲存你選擇或提供的服務商戶地址、預約目的地或服務地點。目前 iOS App 在一般預約流程中不會收集精準裝置 GPS 位置;如日後功能需要該權限,會先向你要求授權。
如使用相機或付款 SDK 功能支援付款,相關付款憑證會由付款服務供應商處理。AutoMate 不會儲存卡片影像或完整付款憑證。
5. 我們如何使用資料
- App 功能: 建立及管理帳戶、驗證用戶、顯示可用服務、管理車輛、處理預約、提供服務套票、確認訂單及發送服務更新。
- 付款及紀錄: 透過付款服務供應商處理訂單、核對付款狀態、發出收據、處理退款或取消安排,以及保留合法交易紀錄。
- 通知及支援: 透過 App 內訊息、推送通知、電話或你提供的其他直接渠道,發送帳戶、預約、訂單、付款、服務、支援及營運通知。
- 安全及服務改善: 防止濫用、排查問題、維持 App 穩定性、改善服務流程、監察效能,以及保障 AutoMate、用戶、服務伙伴及付款服務供應商。
- 法律及合規: 遵守適用法律、監管要求、稅務及會計責任、爭議處理,以及執行我們的條款及政策。
6. 我們如何分享資料
我們只會在營運 AutoMate 服務或履行法律責任所需時分享個人資料。我們要求服務供應商只可按相關服務目的處理資料。
- 服務伙伴: 車房、服務供應商、物流或履約伙伴,以及需要相關預約、車輛、聯絡或訂單資料以完成你所要求服務的客戶服務團隊。
- 付款服務供應商: Stripe、Apple Pay、AlipayHK、銀行、卡組織或其他參與付款、退款、拒付及付款合規處理的付款伙伴。
- 技術服務供應商: 用於營運網站及 App 的託管、雲端基礎設施、分析、CRM、推送通知、安全、記錄及支援服務供應商。
- 法律或安全用途: 在法律要求或為合理保障權利、安全、保安或服務完整性時,向法院、監管機構、執法機關、專業顧問或其他相關方提供資料。
7. 保留及刪除資料
我們會在提供 AutoMate 服務、維持帳戶及交易紀錄、處理爭議、符合法律、會計、稅務及營運要求,以及保障服務完整性所需的期間保留個人資料。
你可在 App 設定中要求刪除帳戶(如該功能可用),透過 https://automate-app.com/delete-account,或透過 cs@automate-app.com 或 support@automate-app.com 聯絡我們。收到有效刪除要求後,我們會刪除或匿名化個人資料;但如基於法律、會計、防詐騙、爭議或服務完整性理由需要保留部分紀錄,則可能依法保留。
8. 資料安全
我們採取合理的行政、技術及組織措施,保護個人資料免受未經授權存取、遺失、誤用、改動或披露。沒有任何系統能保證完全安全,因此我們會持續檢視及改善保障措施。
9. 兒童
AutoMate 服務並非以兒童為對象。如我們得知在未有適當同意下收集了兒童的個人資料,會採取合理步驟刪除相關資料。
10. 本政策的更新
我們可能不時更新本私隱政策。最新版本會刊載於本頁,並以更新日期顯示政策最後修訂時間。
